    I'm a bit of a stickler myself, but if I'm honest, I have to admit that you simply can't adapt a book for the screen without changing or leaving out certain aspects. I'm curious to see what they will make of this.

    Shades of Grey was fantastic, too (unlike its dreadful namesake ...) I hope we will get the promised sequel some time soon.

    I finally read Treasure Island and really loved this classic adventure. Long John Silver is quite an intriguing character.

    Have you read any of these?

    I haven't read Bring Up the Bodies but Mantel's previous Tudor novel, Wolf Hall. Not your run-of-the-mill historical book but a demanding, rewarding read about the fascinating Thomas Cromwell.
