    Laugh Out Loud Funny

    Apart from a few Harry Potter scenes, I really laughed out loud when reading "Owen Meany" by John Irving and "Making History" by Stephen Fry. The audio version of "Life of Pi" is not bad either.

    I'm rather open when it comes to music - the only genres I really don't like are rap, hip-hop and jazz. And German "volksmusik" (yodelling and the like ...)

    Oh, yes, that has happened to me quite a few times. Let's see whom I remember ... Gilbert Blythe (from the Anne series) Harry and James Potter Simon St. James (from the Lynley & Havers mysteries) Plus many others I just can't think of at the moment...

    The only book I quit so far this year was "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton. That unearthly, stunningly beautiful woman ... eeeeek ... and I never had such a bad impression of his style of writing.
