Where are you? (in the book you are reading) - please read 1st post

I'm at the side of a road in Ohio wondering what happened to my girl that I am sure was with me in the crash.

    Sweet Valley High

Haha oh god this thread brings back memories. I used to read Sweet Valley High and the Babysitters Club when I was a teen (they had TV shows of both too if I remember rightly). I definitely think they are too innocent now though, especially if you take a look at recent young adult novels.

    December 2012 eReader Recommendations

I was going to suggest getting a normal Kindle until you mentioned that maps might be a good idea. If you get a Kindle Fire you can download apps of maps - we used them when we went to Vienna and it was really useful. Saying that the battery on the Fire is poor (around 11 hours) whilst the...

    Kindle

I have a Kindle Keyboard and a Kindle Fire. I love, love, love my keyboard and it is ideal for me as I travel so much! I am regretting my decision to buy the Fire, especially as I live in the UK and it doesn't have all of the features that our friends over the pond have. If you're interested...

Amazon's top ten books of the year.

...aren't all books written this way now? I can't remember the last time I read a good story! Maybe I'm getting old...

    Technology stops me from reading!

I get like that - especially when I work online all day, it's easy just to continue doing it once the day ends. I think you just need to get into a good book - maybe try reading a couple of chapters before bed (although if you're anything like me and it is a good book, you probably won't go to...

E.L. James: Fifty Shades of Grey

I have to say that The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy was the worst thing I have read all year... especially the first book! The book is poorly written and the erotica gets boring... fast! - not something that any erotic writer wants to hear I'm sure. I actually found myself skipping the sex...

    Hey Guys

Hey I'm new to this forum but not new to reading :) I work full time as an editor and when not editing I can often be found snuggled up on the sofa with a good book or writing a review for my book review website Read Dream Relax. I look forward to meeting some other book lovers here - my...
