I put them on my bookshelf and when I get the urge to read the book again, I will.
Sometimes I re-read a book because my memory of it is lacking over the years.
I usually try to finish all books I start.
I like reading long books and have given up on a few because they were to boring. I always keep a bookmark in the spot where I stopped just in case I want to start where I left off.
It happened to me while reading the Lord of the Rings when I was...
I generally read in my room.
Which sucks because my sister has her bedroom right next to mine and blares annoying rap music and talks on the phone [she has a loud voice] seemingly non-stop.

1984 - by George Orwell
A great book, I read it in one sitting and read it a few times each year.
Slaughterhouse-five - Kurt Vonnegut

Yeah, I gave the page numbers as reference to how far I am in case anyone was wondering.
Thank you for the warm welcome! :)
The name does indeed mean "I fight" and I pretty much use it for personal reasons.
Hunter - by Andrew Macdonald
Speaker for the dead - by Orson Card
A Game of Thrones - George Martin :o
For school:
Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoevsky
Their Eyes were watching God - Zora Neale Hurston
If that is how you like to read then by all means vocalize them in your head.
As for reading faster, I guess practice makes perfect :) , but there are also some audio tapes and books out there that can help you read faster(I do not know if these work).
As for me, I naturally never...
