1984 - by George Orwell A great book, I read it in one sitting and read it a few times each year. Slaughterhouse-five - Kurt Vonnegut Another excellent book which I read in one sitting, which isn't really worth saying since it is an extremely fast read.

Well, finished Hunter last night and I am going to start A Game of Thrones in a little bit.

It has 323 excluding the afterword and bibliography, 339 with them. The book was as stated before named 1984 by George Orwell. If you haven't read it, then please do!

I felt like I was part of the story when I read 1984. I started early one morning and by night I had finished the entire book. The only times I paused was for the occasional bathroom break and meals.

Every once in a while I get a magazine on Metal like Metal Maniacs just to see if any new CDs, Bands, or what not have popped up. On occasion I will get an Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine to see what new games are coming out.

I loved it. To each his own I suppose!

If that is how you like to read then by all means vocalize them in your head. As for reading faster, I guess practice makes perfect :) , but there are also some audio tapes and books out there that can help you read faster(I do not know if these work). As for me, I naturally never...
