Both the movie and the book were excellent in my opinion. The movie seemed to follow the book quite well and I think they made a good choice with their 'buttercup and Westley' for the movie as well as the other characters in the story..the music was good too. ^_^
So far (in no order) my favorite manga would have to be...
Planet Ladder
Wish
Marmalade boy
Ah My Goddess!
of course, as soon as I can get my hands on a kenshin manga that list will change..
Welcome to the wonderful world of manga!
I've read a number of those you listed..
Marmalade boy is a very cute and simple story, good if you like sweet basic love stories.
Planet Ladder, in my opinion, is excellent if you're the kind of person who loves a good fantasy tale.
Oh My Goddess...
I have about four nice bookmarks, I baught most of them, but one was my grandmother's. I keep my bookmark in a corner of my bookshelf, but seem to forget to grab one when I go out the door with a book, so most of the time I end up using scraps of paper or recipts, I've even used a cd before...I...
Usually just for reading I prefer paperback, but if I really like a book and want to have it to read for a long while, then chances are I'll have the paperback around to read and eventually get a hardback to sit on my shelf..Now that I look, I don't have but, eight hardbacks.
My three favorite books of the moment and in no particular order...
"Chikara" by Robert Skimin
"The Free Bards" by Mercedes Lackey
"The Princess Bride" by William Goldman
Right now I'm working on two books... The first is "Take A Thief" by Mercedes Lackey, and I'm really enjoying it, and something tells me these characters are going to stick in my mind for a bit.
The second one I'm working on is "Ruby Slippers, Golden Tears" edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri...
Usually no, I don't speed read. If I find a good book that I want to get everything out of, I'll take my time and spend however long I need to on it, but if it's not something interesting or if I'm in a hurry, then I can be done with it fairly quickly.
I just signed up and after spending over a week looking for a nice book forum I think I've found it. Hopefully I'll be able to get to know some people on here before too long. I'm sixteen, from florida, and love reading. Anyway, I hope to have a nice time here.. This forums is a bit harder to...
Song inspired by books, well, I really can't think of many except for the song inspired by some of the Mercedes Lackey books..
Draw The Circle, Kerowyn's Ride, Dark and Stormy Night, as well as some others.
