"Chikara" by Robert Skimin... I can't remember how many times I have read it, maybe a bit too much, because it's falling apart. :( I do love it because of how big of a story it seems..looking at so many people, and so many things. The ending to me, is great, and the characters are wonderful. I...
I'm going to pick up The Lovely Bones this tuesday when I go to the bookstore. Everything I've heard about it is good, so I decided I'm going to go ahead and give it a read.
I've been doing that as well, I've cut out chicken entirely for a few years now, and don't eat much in the way of fish, steak, and pork..however, I find myself unable to give up turkey...
This morning I woke up, and after wandering into the kitchen, and staring at whatever there was to eat, I realised 'I want some a burger.' I've never been one for breakfast foods, but pasta, burgers, pizza have always been my favorite things to eat throughout the day for any meal. So, what are...
My mom, my grandma, every lady I'm related to and almost all that I know outside the family, has a coffee table. It's a very common bit of furniture, not so special really, it's more like....what you put on it. Most people I know tend to buy small books, usually on cute jokes, facts, life...
Ah, now next to a good book, quotes are something I really enjoy. I put two of my favorites in my signature, other than that here are a few I like.
"When I read a book I seem to read it with my eyes only, but now and then I come across a passage, perhaps only a phrase, which has a meaning for...
I also keep an online journal, but I prefer my book diary, for the main reason that other's won't read,...knowing that nobody else will read it, I put more openly, things I might never put in my online journal. Another reason I prefer a book diary is,..years down the road I want to be able to go...
A lot of people out there like to keep a journal or a diary in their spare time. It's really just a great way to get things off your chest when you have nobody to talk to, or when you'd rather not talk. I keep a diary, and have been for about two years now. I like being able to go back and read...
You might have already thought of it and said no, but have you considered adding a chat so that people from the forums would be able to talk in real time, seeing as not everyone may have all of the messangers. As a site and forum owner myself, I know that chats can take time to watch and keep up...
I have never liked to take medicine, I don't want to feel like I need to..but everyone catches a cold or doesn't feel well every now and again...My throat has been so dry and sore, I almost can't talk and couldn't sleep last night. Does anyone know of something I could make, eat or drink to at...
Thank you all for the nice welcome, after spending some time looking through the forums I like it even more, you can bet you'll see me on here quite a bit, so if anyone ever wants to chat feel free to get up with me.
Hmm... I don't know about forever, but I hope you can find what you're looking for, you might try these links..

I like having something to listen to while I'm reading or working, usually I put on a playlist of David Arkenstone while I'm reading, but any other music can distract me.
Sand Lot
The Princess Bride
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Spirited Away
Dr. Dolitle (The old one)
Most of the classic Disney movies
I know I'm forgetting a few, but I just can't seem to remember what they are...
"Somewhere else, in a room shadowed by age and death, a man readies himself to look into the future for what may be the last time"-From City of Bones, by Martha Wells
That opening line caught my eye as very interesting, I set the book how for a second... "huh.." but, who can forget the best...
:p ah, I loved those, I think I still have some boxed away...
Beyond that, I loved reading Beatrix Potter, fairy tales, The Wind in The Willows, Swiss Family Robinson, The Jungle Book, but, I think Black Beauty was my favorite book for the longest time when I was little.
