Cold, COLD, COLD, COLD, COLD!!!!
Damn the crappola insulation in this country!! If anyone with photoshop wants to add an icicle to my penguin's beak, it would express my sentiments pretty well.
Not happy, Jan.

I generally use Firefox, and sometimes Safari. The reason I started using Firefox was because the tags weren't working in Safari (bold, hyperlink, etc). But they're now working! Not sure if that's your doing, Darren, or an update in Safari, but either way it's...
I actually like the brown. It seems 'bookish', for want of a better word. I also really like the way it which the site appears to have forums on the side, as opposed to the main focus. Hopefully that will draw more people in. And a booklist feature in the future could only help... :D But that's...
See, I never heard about these 'movies'. I'm not sure we ever got them in Oz. So season 3 is out now? I'll have to make some enquiries about that! I have the first two seasons in NTSC format, and I'm not sure whether to get PAL (if it's even available) or stay with NTSC. I'm sure it'll be...
Fabbo! Thanks Darren! It's nice to know the cogs in your brain are turning regarding this. You know, if you could link the books that people have on their lists to Amazon directly, perhaps that could be an income generator for TBF (or BAR, as we may have to learn to call it!).
At a year and a half, I'm not sure what the child is more interested in - the pictures or the tone of your voice. At that age plot doesn't seem to be a big issue.
I was a big fan of Enid Blyton as a child. I had a wonderful illustrated copy of The Magic Wishing Chair. My mother used to read it...
Huh??? Based on the smiley, I'm not sure if you're in jest here, but just in case...
You would want to say "That cat looks like mine". The very word 'mine' implies possesive. However you would say "That cat looks just like yours."
Why was the 5th 'controversial'?
I watched the series on occasion. I was always a huge Bruce Campbell fan, though, on the basis of his previous brilliant series, 'The Adventures of Brisco County Jr'. :D
Just wanted to qualify my answer. This is something we've discussed before, but I can't recall ever having a poll about it. I'd love Darren to have a think about this and let us know if it's feasible. However, the space/bandwidth and programming required may make it unrealistic, which I'd...
1. The first one says that it's a conversation belonging to both Sarah and Jim (they are having a conversation with each other). The second one is actually incorrect as it implies there are two different conversations. Thus it should be "Sarah and Jim's conversations". A clearer example may be...
I don't think that's correct, Still.
With the first one, I'm pretty positive that when a word ends in 's', you put the apostrophie after the 's' when the word is the possessor. It doesn't matter if the word is plural or not. Thus:
Silas' cat's claws.
But I would change the word order to...
Happy Birthday, MC!! I just realised that I never posted a birthday wish :) Hope you have a wonderful week doing all those things you're now allowed to do!!
Why is it 21 for the casino, though?? And can you now drive by yourself? 18 is the age here where you can get your P's (which lets you...
Happy Birthday cat-man!
Btw, my pronounciation of your name is "Mrrr-kug-nao", the first bit of which makes me thing of a grouchy pussy cat! How do you pronounce it?
