Three of my favourite movies must be Pirates of the Caribbean -because it's fantastic and realistically surrealistic, Disco Pigs -because it is beautiful, and the Alladin cartoon movies, especially the first one which I have loved since I was teeny tiny, if you look away from Alladins some naive...
I LOVE the Simpsons!
I also love Family Guy (especially Stewie, who I am going to marry).
Of the not-family Simpsons I love them all, but mostly perhaps Ralph Wiggum ("dying tickles!"), mr. Burns because... I really don't know why, but my ultimate favourite I think must be Barney Gumble, he...
I saw the movie Mongoland yesterday, it's a norwegian movie and I'm not really going to bother explaining it to you since you probably haven't seen it and you probably wont. I loved the movie because most of it is in black and white, it's confusing, romantic (in a weird way), funny and my...
I find Tom Cruise quite boring to be honest. I have no interest in him whatsoever, he's just an actor without any element about him that makes him stand out except from his famous name. I love the movie Vanilla Sky, but Tom Cruise himself I think is very anonymous, I can't say that I dislike...
I read Bram Stoker's Dracula a couple of years ago, it was okay in the first third of the book because it seemed as though it would get really exciting. But it never did. I will not burn any Anne Rice (person nor book), Jay, but I will perhaps check out this I Am Legend book you are speaking of...
"when the devil came he was not red, he was chrome"
(Referring to the song Hell is Chrome, by Wilco)
I think of hell in the colours white and soft pink. Sometimes entirely black. I like all of those colours. Bizarre. But I don't believe in hell, though.
What will you do if/when you own a home and you find that termites have taken a fancy to it as well?
I will make little matchbox-beds for them to sleep in, and give all of them induvidual names. Eventually I would myself be living in a little house made of matchboxes.
What do/will you do...
Yes I have, and indeed it is very good. I do not like the phrase "madmen know nothing", though, it all depends on the madness which is possessing the person.
Pink socks rocks.
I am not sure how I feel about answering the question of such a babyheadsquashing person such as yourselves, but yeah well, to mention a few: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dandy Warhols, Ramones, Clash, Libetines, Lacuna (not Coil), Morphine, Pixies, Wilco, Mew, A Perfect Circle, Budhi Brown, The...
I don't read "teen magazines", simply because I get embarrassed just looking at their front pages, embarrassed over how bad their cover stories and pictures are, that is. Teen magazines are as far from anything that is beautiful, poetic, artistic, interesting or anything else which my mind would...
Anyone here know about Jonathan Wayshak? I have deeply fallen in love with his art, even his ink sketches are beyond gorgeous. I also adore the beautiful pieces of art that crawl out of Matt Shealy's mind.
I am not so fond of Munch, Van Gogh, Da Vinci or any of those great ''legends'' to be...
I often do the mistake of thinking that "I will just finish this chapter then I will go to sleep" when it's already very late. I never just finish the chapter, I always read at least three or ten chapters before I fall asleep. Luckily it's vacation now, so that is currently not a problem.
It is...
I'm to messy to keep quotes. I write them down sometimes, though, but whatever I wrote them on always disappears in some mystic manner. But I do scribble a lot in the books, and line under sentences words that I find particularly beautiful. I have always loved the world "peculiar", and I found...
I actually don't have any problems choosing which book I wish to read. It's like I have this inner radar or something, but in libraries I hardly ever find anything unless I know what I'm looking for.
I was going on a short trip a couple of days ago and I had to take a book with me (of course)...
I am currently reading The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice, and I absolutely love it, it's amazing! I also read Interview with the Vampire a while ago, which I also loved, but then I saw the movie and it was so terrible, pathetic and beyond repulsive that I'll probably have to read the book a couple...
Here I am, in the book forum. The forum about books. Booksbooksbooks... Right. Hello, hi. I am a person, uhm... I like to wear pink socks, I love to paint. I'm an art student... 17 years old, girl. Norwegian, actually, but I prefer English books. I love Edgar Allan Poe. The last book I read was...
