Do you ever reread your books?

Not often. There are some I come back to, either because I think I might pick up on something different that I missed last time, or just because I like them. Books like Frankenstein, The Divine Comedy, Jane Eyre, a lot of Poe, O.Henry, and Lovecraft's stories, some of Orwell's stuff. It's like...

    Mr. Darcy or Rhett Butler????

I've always had a soft spot for Rochester, prickly as he is at times. But my #1 is still Benedick :D Even as a moony teenager I couldn't see the appeal of Heathcliff though; that book kind of gave me the creeps, to be honest, I don't get how people tout it as a love story when the dominant...

Do authors make a living now the internet has pirated their work?

Yeah, I'm confused; is there some literary version of Napster out there? Are are you talking about E-books in general? B/c there are definitely King E-books on the market.... Writing is a business like any other. In terms of online publishing, well, it's just very very important to read any...

    Best book to movie?

DeNiro's performance was great, but the movie itself was a pretty big mess despite being, technically, a faithful adaptation.

The Last Words You Would Write/Say Before Dying?

"I regret everything." Holy S* that link was sad. Especially Woolf and Valez.

Which is the best of all the comic books

Okay, not really.....:D That's a tough thing to narrow down, but Watchmen is definitely up there. As is Batman: the Killing Joke. I liked Bone and The Crow quite a lot when I was a kid.

    Best book to movie?

Bet you anything it'll be Charlize Theron (assuming Sean Penn is allowing her to leave the house if/when production starts on this). As for book-to-movie transitions, I've always loved DePalma's adaptation of Carrie. I think the movie stays pretty true to the book and adds a deeper sense of...

Does this cover work for a thriller novel?

Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing as Meadow, drop the flags and maybe just do one biohazard symbol centered against the helixes. I like the font for your name better than the title font, but it would be best to use one font consistently regardless. The synopsis has me interested; good...

    Fantasy series?

The Nightworld series maybe? I liked Sharon Shinn's Samaria (Archangel) books too, although those aren't YA exactly (don't know if you're looking specifically for YA or not.)

Books that totally blew you away

The Rebel by Albert Camus really put a lot of things into perspective for me. Frankenstein. I first read it when I was 14 and loved the gothic horror aspect of it. Re-reading it as an adult, the loneliness in the subtext (although I guess it's not all that subtle) got under my skin. It's...

    Current Non-Fiction reads

Just started American Lion by Jon Meachem. Andrew Jackson was a fascinating person...an awful person in some ways, but fascinating.
