do you keep track of the books you read?

And this is my dilemma (sorry Fate) with libraries. Sure they offer free books for our viewing pleasure, but I have an uncanny need to keep every book i've read. (I've paid schools to keep books i had to read for assignments.) Therefore, yes. I keep track of all the books i've ever read by...

    Boredom Attacks

Boredom attacks my brain like tiny sea-shells of metal to an ever so absorbant magnet. There is no defense mechanism within so they leech on, sucking energy but leaving me awake. When the energy is dry, they do not leave. They linger, waiting for me to refuel my supply so they may continue...

The Atlantic: How to land your kid in therapy

It's interesting. How a good thing can turn bad. But i believe it's more than possible. You guys ever hear of the story about the man who helped the struggling butterfly out of its cacooon? It never learned to fly.

    What books have you hated?

It's safe to say I've never came across a book i haven't liked. Either i give sympathy to the author and try to understand it or everything amuses me. I'll remember to stay clear of everything mentioned here though. Actually, the semi-self-help book 48 Laws of Power was bad. That book...

Saddest/Most Depressing Novel You've Ever Read

The Grapes of Wrath was pretty depressing. I found The Great Gatsby to be rather depressing as well. Any life lived in vain is. The beginning of Life of Pi is also a tear-jerker.

    Journalists Amoung Us?

Hello everyone, So i was wondering - seeing that I'm getting into journalism myself - if there were any journalists here in the community. I would like to know some pros and cons to the job and whether or not I'm in for a rude awakening.. (I'm still in career debate mode but leaning...

Bad non-fiction that you've recently read

The 48 Laws of Power It was an interesting read but boy does it turn you into a self-centered egotistical snob.

    Erotica and Testosterone

But um, I'm not really looking for hardcore eroticism. So am i looking for a Romance novel or...? Because i want the novel to have good taste, but sensual good taste. I'm not sure the genre I'm looking for..

    What's the most misspelled word?

I think it's the you's and their's that get misspelled a lot. Kinda drives me crazy. Maybe I'm insecure.. You know you're on the wrong path when they're trying their new razor on your body, down there. PS. I know we all hit the spell check button to make sure nothing else was spelled...

    Feedback

Excellent website. I've been looking for this for a while. I've checked other forums and sites and it's just too crowded, too much going on on the screen. Here it's simple, easy on the eyes, and organized. Just thought i'd give some feedback on a well-established website.
