I think it would have a lot to do with the person to whom I'm recommending the book. Harry Potter would be on the list, as would Fried Green Tomatos (if I'm recommending this to a woman). I'm trying to think of other possibilities...I'll get back to you on that.
If you've dropped it and it still works, then its sturdy enough for kids. The dropping is what I was worried about....I figure kids these days know enough about electronics to avoid over-stressing them.
Wow, six rabbits, Litany?!? I'm impressed. I'm not sure I could handle the antics of six bunnies. You'll have to post pics of the new ones :)
Marquis - very cool pics. I'm glad you had a good time, in spite of passing out in a bunch of bushes. I have to say, the Astons make me...

Finally I have some new books coming my way:
Changing Places: A Tale of Two Campuses
American Pie: A Novel (not associated with the movie)
Excellent Women
The Mother Tongue
I think it has a lot to do with the current culture. Everyone is rushing to get things done, without much time to breathe. They don't have the time to sit down and truly appreciate a good piece of literature. They don't even take the time to go out and find a good piece of literature...
Thank you Sapper :)
A lifetime reading of pain? Have you already started reading through this list? (Some of the selections looked pretty painful to me)
