Marla - My favorite King novel is definitely Insomnia, but I also liked Rose Madder and Dreamcatcher. And Everything's Eventual had a few stories that kept me up one night with the light on...
I'd also like to recommend taking a look at some of Edward Rutherfurd's novels if you like historical fiction. They're a big bite to chew, but it's well worth the effort. I will probably read London again soon, and I hardly ever re-read books unless they're really great.
