I read The Stand a few years back and loved it. I read the extended version but you wouldn't miss out reading the abridged. Give it a shot! :D

The only book I've read by Robin Cook is Contagion and I really enjoyed it. I'll have to catch up on some of his stuff.

I have a worn-out Lord of the Rings bookmark I got from my H.S. library 3 years ago. I'm still using it. I also have a metal bookmark my parents bought me last year but it's extremely heavy and doesn't hold the pages very well.

I just finished The Taking by Dean Koontz and enjoyed it. It was the first time I picked up a book by him. I'm looking to read Intensity and Phantoms soon.

I just came across The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Hadden. For those of you that have read it, any thoughts?

I read about 2/4 of it in H.S. I couldn't finish it. Too depressing.

I was reading House of Leaves but it started to drag a little (I'll get back to it). I'm currently reading The Taking by Dean Koontz. So far, so good. :D
