How many genres do you like to read?

I enjoy most fiction. I haven't given romance or the westerns a chance, and I don't think I ever will. :)

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

I finished The Da Vinci Code and enjoyed it quite a lot. My friends have told me that Angels and Demons is more suspenseful but doesn't have as many shocking parts. I plan on reading it after House of Leaves which I started 10 minutes ago.

    I am Sam

It has to be the slide. It appealed to me when I first played it, and it differs from all other instruments. I don't know if I should have responded cunningly, or straightforward. :D Thanks for the “Welcome” everyone. It is appreciated. :)

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

I actually just purchased East of Eden by Steinbeck, and House of Leaves by Danielewski. I purchased House of Leaves after reading some reviews here, and it sounds great. East of Eden has been on my list for awhile, and I bought it because the twins sound much like my twin and I. It should be a...

    Pet Peeves

I hate the sound of styrofoam. The noise drives me mad. The thought of fingers on a chalkboard, people who stare at you after you smile at them, people who talk on their phones in the grocery store, loud rap music in a car with the bass blasting, people who never use blinkers, my poodle barking...

The Regulators/Desperation by Stephen King/Richard Bachman

I just finished reading Desperation by King. Here is the summary from the flap: Nevada is mostly a long stretch of desert you cross on the way to somewhere else. And with someone else, if you're lucky...because it's a scary place. Headed down Route 50 in the brutal summer heat are people...

When And Where Do You Read?

I usually read after noon. I can't concentrate very well in the morning, and I'm usually not in the mood. I start around 1 or 2 and read for about 2-3 hours. I'll either read on my bed, on the couch, or I'll just walk around and read (I read faster while walking). lol. It's weird, I know...

What fiction book do you keep reading over and over?

I read A Lesson Before Dying two years ago, and I loved it. It is very emotional. I'll have to give it a reread sometime. :D
