I decided on the Economist. The issue I read wowed me, and the ordering and delivery process for overseas customers seems easier than that for the Guardian Weekly. I need it in paper form as eating breakfast is boring without some reading material, and I don't have a notebook computer.
I...
My system? Oh no.
I just don't like the sound of "she may never be released" and "there are no set punishments". It leaves a lot of room for legal abuse.
I don't like short poems, so the Sonnets are out. I've read a lot of the Sonnets, and appreciate them, but mostly, for me, short poems are unsatisfying. Kind of the a short joke compared to a Woody Allen movie.
I actually liked reading Macbeth last month, so I guess my conclusion is that the...
And, unless we assume heaven with 72 virgins really exists, this gun nutter already achieved more of his wishes than the average Muslim suicide bomber.
Daily papers overwhelm me, and monthlies leave me hanging. I need a good weekly. I find Time and Newsweek boring and light. I'd like to get MacLean's, since I'm Canadian, but I find it boring too.
I can't just go to the newsstand and sample as I'm in Korea, and English mags are sparse...

If I personally wanted them that'd be fine. I shop from anywhere needed when I need a book.
However, my school here in Korea has a really picky ordering policy involving, among other things, not shopping from overseas, especially used books. They have scads of paperwork to complete in their...
I'd like some help, too. When I was younger I read a Time Life series of books on WWII. It had about 30 books with lots of pictures and decent text content. I'd like to buy something similar for my school's library. The Time Life series is out of print, though.
Yeah, actually I'm really proud of myself. I read Macbeth last week, for the first time. I was enjoying it a lot, and really wanted to find out everything that happened. The criticism in the back of the book was very helpful for enjoying it on many levels. I'm going for King Lear next. It'll be...
Ah yes, good old Nimbus. Thanks for the direct link Hermione. I was going to have to kick around for it this week.
Wow, I'm so wanting to research and get on this project, and work just piles me down.
