I had a dog named Bobby, died about 3 years ago. I still miss him. My dad got his own pond to looking after koi fishes. I name one of those fishes called Gobble!
Hi Cin, welcome and enjoy this forum! You are not only one, I am terrible with spending on the books. Yesterday I went to the bookshop to spending on books for mothers day, not for me which I am glad so I spend on my new pairs of trainers with my birthday money!
I go for the cover, read blurbb and recommendations from my mates and in paper.
At Waterstones, they always display the books on the table, there are oftens new authors I never heard before, I pick them to see how it go.
I remember how I start to read book - Topsy and Tim ( I think), then Mog cat, Mr Men. I start to read properly, it was Ronald Dahl and Enid Blyton. I am glad to read these book. If I didn't read them, I can't imagine what will happens to me!
