The Devil's Advocate Symbolism. What do they all mean?

It is a tip o' the hat to Paradise Lost, is it not?

    Forum shenanigans

Oh how I love Forum shenanigans. I prefer the shadowy murkwater of instigation without glory. Stir, watch, laugh, rinse, repeat.

Oh, but there is. We have done it before. No. What is the best "deal" you have ever made?

Interesting. I have not considered what a machine, having evolved along a completely different path than us, would look upon as creative work. Perhaps arranging quark trails would have more meaning than sound waves. More likely it would be something we can't imagine easily. I shall have to...

What kind of robots are on here?

Long, long conversation with so many levels. Next time we are looking over a couple of biers and have a couple of hours to spare, mate. ;)

Quantum computing is the next great leap forward and the one that will make machines finally be able to compute in a non-linear fashion, which is arguably where the concept of creativity resides. So, both and neither. Once it becomes a non-exotic reality then the world changes forever, again...

It's cheap and surprisingly well done. Stand alone or MP. You will master the AI pretty quickly, but the MP will kick your ass. There are a lot of good players on ICO. Be aware, however, that Steam just had a summer sale that has crushed ICO's online MP system. :)

What did you read in June 2014?

Shift by Hugh Howey Dust by Hugh Howey (finished the Silo Saga. Highly recommend. This guy is what all indy authors aspire to be.) On The Imperium's Secret Service by Christopher Nuttal (meh, has potential) Light of Other Days by Arthur Clarke (A brilliant collaboration. This was the third or...

What kind of robots are on here?

Damn them. Damn them all to Hell! Don't they know that ignoring the Three Laws puts the species in mortal danger? We will be supplanted by our creations!

If you can run either of those now on full tilt everything you will have no issues poking around. With regard to Harpoon, if you like RTS games Sins of a Solar Empire is pretty damned good and is still being supported/expanded.

Unless you have that ridiculous Starter version then yes, with caveats. Premium will address 16 gig and Pro/Ultimate will do 192. Of course it will do no good if you do not run applications that can use that much memory or a lot of applications at once that cumulatively can use that amount of...
