Tesco did really well when The Big Read was on TV, I got alot of books from them that I'd heard of on the show.

Paperbacks for novels is a must for me, when you collect books they are smaller/thinner, cost less and are easy to pop in your handbag to read on the tube.

You might just like Pullmans books then, His Dark Materials or maybe the Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander, the chronicles of Narnia are also very good.
