I'll take a stab at this one: are you looking for writing advice geared towards the grammatical end of the spectrum? Before asking someone for advice, pick up a book or two (or ten) on grammar and read them thoroughly. Get a solid base and then approach someone for more nuanced advice.

I try very hard not to judge people by the number or the type of books they have displayed. Though it's a difficult thing to hold back on, especially if they proudly showcase loads of books from politics that I consider "extremist." Nonetheless, I try to read from all sides of the spectrum...
The ones I've cognitively ingested are below:
1. Great Gatsby, Fitzgerald
2. 1984, Orwell
3. Animal Farm, Orwell
4. Catcher In The Rye, Salinger
5. Slaughterhouse-Five, Vonnegut
6. Lord of the Rings, Tolkien
7. The Old Man and the Sea, Hemingway
8. The World According to Garp, Irving...
My LOA books have held up nicely after a few readings. All hardcovers. And I still haven't managed to drop them down 3 flights of stairs or spill toxic chemicals on them.
LOA books claim that they're made of the highest quality archival material. They're supposed to outlast your great...
Did anyone else get a "Chickie Nobs" pop-up window from that site?
I have read no Atwood. I plan to, but most fiction on my list tends to get prioritized downwards.
I unfortunately sat through the HBO moviezation of "Handmade's Tale." It was years ago, but I don't remember enjoying it. I...

Wow... that's annoying. A big security device right over the text. They usually stick pretty good, so getting one off without destroying the page will be tricky. Solvent would be your best bet, but solvent would also saturate the page. Can you return the book where you bought it?
Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut
Not his best, nor even that great overall, but it was the first "real novel" I read and it made me want to read more.
Novelizations of Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Return Of The Pink Panther
After finishing these I never read another novelization...
I found it on YouTube (sorry, I can't get to YouTube now since my work blocks it) - search on Philip Roth interview. If I remember right, it's in two parts and was from 60 minutes. Good interview.
I once worked with a woman named Gay. I have not seen that name before or since. Numerous awkward moments ensued when people would walk in the office and ask "are you Gay?" Everytime they would burst out laughing. We all grew used to it. What we retain on our neurons...
A few years back Philip Roth was interviewed on TV about his thoughts about the future of fiction. He didn't think fiction will last another decade or two because people will find "more compelling" forms of entertainment.
Does anyone agree with this? Is fiction on an inexorable downward...
