Despite me being (or having been, rather) the biggest abuser of General Chat, I agree with Stewart, ni matter how much my count would drop (feel free, Stewart).
Turns out I'm not alone in this. Phew!
In the case of the example I used you'd be hard pressed to find books that are similar - Fforde's work is pretty unique. Otherwise, good advice.

This is something I touched upon in another thread, and I was wondering if any of you are familiar with this peculiar phenomenon.

I love Jasper Fforde's novels, and sofar there are five of them. I own...

As stated earlier in this thread, I love everything Jasper Fforde does - his Thursday Next novels are the funniest and most amusing novels I have read in a long long time. So, imagine my surprise when I found yet another book by this good old Brit.

Deadwood is another HBO series I've been hearing good things about. Haven't seen a single episode, though.
Has anyone seen enough of this to form an opinion about it? Any good?

This is a good thread; lets keep it like that.
I've cut back drastically due to several circumstances, and now mainly focus on a select few threads which interest me personally. Quite a few close friends have left this place over the years, and that pains me.
I think the forum has outgrown me.
Akira is downright amazing, and not at all showing it's age. Ghost in the Shell is supposedly even better, but I've yet to see it. I'm tracking it down as we speak.
