    The Fountain

Whenever it flashed back to the past and revealed more of the 'Conquistador' story, it was cued from Izzy's book. It was not an autobiography. Izzy was coming to terms with her mortality and recognized her husbands valiant medical work to try and fix her. Izzy, upon finding she was going to die...

    The Fountain

This was the most profound, emotional roller coaster ride of 2006, hands down. Christ, it's deep. (well, not as deep as I would like, but still) deep. This is art house. This is an art movie. This is pure art. wow There are even some scene very reminscient of the Hulk. This film is like...

    Stephen KIng Or Dean Koontz

Dean Koontz is crap compared to Stephen. Why don't you start with Night Shift. Also, Stephen is crap compared to Edgar Allen Poe. And Edgar is crap compared to Dahl.

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

No. The majority of US artists, don't know how to draw. It's a simple fact.

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

It's not really the illustration that's god awful, but rather the composition--the way it's positioned. Right dead smack in the middle with neon green colors forming an image of a harp, with horrible color coordination. It just looks plain silly, when it's suppose to be lyrical, dark, and scary...

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

James Frey: a million little pieces. (that's exactly what it was; piece of sh.t novel) Ray Bradubury: Something Wicked this way Comes (the ugliest drawing of a kid on a carasuel I've seen, yet the must luminous story) *shudders*

O.J. Simpson's First "If I had Killed My Wife" Novel

Yet you'll be the first one to purchase a copy, and comprehend (if not all) the mind of a killer. I definitely would. What was the motivation. Why did he kill her. And how did manage he to escape.

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

Christ, that could be it! I thought the same exact thing. The artist is given a simple plot or an outline of what to draw, instead of him reading the whole book for himself, and creating, designing, truly drawing from the depth of his heart. That could be a good reason, also, dam, gem! :)...

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

You're not getting to the root of the problem, ion, just skimming the surface. What if Ion and Eyez are really the same people pretending to have multiple personalities?

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

No ion, read my previous post, right above you. That's why. Also, the artists in the US seriously lacks creativity, compared to overseas. That's why true artists go to Europe and learn; whereas artists in the US work in art supply stores behind cash registers or even a lower...

Why are US book cover designs so poor?

They want our money. They can care less about the art or the craft of writing. :(
