I have several Amazon wishlists, according to genre, and my trusty little notebook.
I feel I must add that even when I get a book whose title I didn't get directly from B&R, this forum has helped my tastes in reading change to such a degree that it influences my choices in reading material in...
I am reading The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
Originally written for children, I'm finding them a really entertaining read. They are about kids (of course), good versus evil, magic, and other worlds.
In Lewis's preferred reading order (not the order published):
1. The Magician's...
That list would be quite long. After I joined in 2004, I quit reading all the harlequin-type novels I used to read and really began stretching out into other genres and have never been able to read another on of those again (thank goodness).
To name a few of the most memorable:

I'm between semesters at the moment, so I'm not reading my Intro to Financial Accounting text anymore. But I have just begun Rachel Carson's Silent Spring. I am considering going into environmental engineering, and have heard from several sources that this book basically began the...
Heck yes!!! I avoid buying my texts in the campus bookstore. I bought a book last semester from an online store for $10 that the campus store had for over $100 used  . I believe in supporting my school, but come on, that's just a rip-off.
As far as this supposed contract goes, it could say you had to stand on your head every other Thursday and twice on Sundays, but if you didn't sign it, it doesn't mean a thing.
She probably did spend the money and all that, so if she sends you the £20, and even if she doesn't, you may have to...
While amazon does have used books at really great prices, sometimes as low as $.01, daedalusbooks.com and hamiltonbook.com both have new books at great prices and their shipping costs are per order, not per book.
Sometimes I am forced to take a break between books because I am reading them as an author comes out with them, but either way, I read other stuff or else I will OD.
hardback or softback novels? whatever I get my hands on
Pen or pencil? usually pen, but I love a good dark pencil
Paper clip or staple? that depends on how permanently I want the stuff held together
Holding a book in hand or laying it on your desktop? holding it
Having a stack of books on...
