i really like the feel of the kindle. the screen is very clear and it looks nice. I think what really holds me back from using my kindle more is the fact that i really enjoy going to the book store and walking around and looking at different books until one strikes my fancy. I can't do that with...
I think it's pretty crappy. I've noticed that they have a new type of "hardcover" book now. Instead of it being a real hardcover though, it's just an enlarged paper back version of the book that costs the same as hardcovers used to cost.
I think paper backs should be 5-7 dollars, hardcovers...
eh, you get the same information out of the source, so I count it as the same. Doesn't really matter if I am reading the words or if someone else is as long as I am getting the information into my mind. That said, I'm way too cheap/poor to buy audio books haha.
Pride and prejudice and As I Lay Dying. I had to read both of them in school and I disliked them a lot.
I didn't really mind the twilight series. It wasn't great or anything, it was kind of bland, but it wasn't awful.
I definitely like Hemmingway, the sun also rises and for whom the bell...
If I am really into the book I will read it non stop every day until I finish it. Otherwise I might read it every few days for only 15mins to a hour those days. It really just depends on how into the book I a m. When I am transitioning from one book to another it sometimes takes me a few days...
When I try this, I usually get totally into one of the novels, then forget about the other. By the time I am done with the one I got totally into, I don't have any interest reading the other novel.
It seems weird to me how many of my friends never read any books unless they become so popular that they feel like they have to read them (like harry potter). Oh well, people are entitled to do whatever they like I guess
I got a kindle for graduating college. It's pretty cool because I can get all the classic books for free, but it sucks that new books cost virtually the same price, so I might as well just buy the hard copies since I can get 30 percent off at borders with their coupons.
I usually read male writers, but I occasionally read women. My girlfriend is the same way. It seems like more men write the types of books we like, fantasy/philosophy/etc
I just got a kindle for graduating college. It is pretty cool. There are tons of free books I can put on it. The books that I have to pay for cost about as much as the books from the bookstore though, as long as I just buy paper backs
For brand new books, I like barnes and nobles the best. I just really like the atmosphere there. I don't dislike boarders or anything, but i definitely enjoy barnes and nobles a lot more.
For used books, I really like bookmans. I don't know if you guys have them where you are from, but we...
You guys wouldn't believe the caliber of people that are juniors/seniors in college. Sometimes I have to peer review essays and some of them are god awful
