Are you happy with this forum?

I love this forum. My reading has diversified as a result of this place and my TBR has mutated rather hideously (but in a good way)! My posting has been limited and I promise to up my game! What would I like to see changed? Currently nothing but with increased posting habits, maybe I...

    A Bestseller You Hated

This book read like a movie script to me. I didn't mind the story so much but the writing was abhorrent!

    James Ellroy

I am a massive Ellroy fan although I think that he is a bit of a nutter! My only complaint is that his later novels are especially thick. Sadly with my reading speed it can take quite some time to get through one of those babies!

What is stressing you out as of late?

I have something to add but it pales in comparison. I hope that everyone's stresses relieve and things turn around for all of you that need things to turn around. I have been waking at 5 am every morning and can't go back to sleep. We have a new puppy and I have to let it out every morning...

I worked with a girl whose boyfriend was in a band (small indy band in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia). Both my coworker and her boyfriend are big readers. For their latest album release, they made book marks with a lyric from one of the tracks saying "Midnight creeps, like a strangler...

Your opinion of my long TBR list...

Firstly Aqua, great idea! I think that you and I have very similar lists. Due to my slow reading speed, I tend not to read books over about 600 pages, so the Ayn Rand books and a few others are probably out for me! There are quite a few on your TBR list that I've read and many, many more...
