Do we have the full list of who was supposed to recommend for who?
Can we find out who hasn't received a recommendation yet and maybe those people (myself included) could recommend to each other?
9 for me...

Life of Pi by Yann Martel
True History of the Kelly Gang by Peter Carey
The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
Disgrace by J.M. Coetzee
Amsterdam by Ian McEwan
The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
Paddy Clark Ha Ha Ha by Roddy Doyle...
Sorry for my delay in posting...
I finished The Good Earth back in September and I am glad that Dele recommended it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it's study of relationships especially of marital relationships and also the relationship between the protagonist (a farmer) and the "good earth"...
Dele recommended The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck.
I started this novel today and have read about 50 pages and I am really enjoying it. I feel an immediate connection with the main characters and am slightly nervous about the prospect of bad things that may befall them...
 thanks Joderu, I'm glad you liked it.

Firstly, great idea for a thread!
My five:
1) The Road - Cormac McCarthy
2) Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk
3) Life Of Pi - Yann Martel
4) American Psycho - Bret Easton Ellis
5) The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
I had read my first recommendation.
Just waiting on Adele to send me another recommendation.
Hint, hint... ;)
Also wondering if joderu95 is happy with the book I recommended to her.
... Like a Jimbow scorned?
Classic first post.

2010 Edgar Award Winner: The Last Child - John Hart
