    Favorite Song by Avril L.

    Songs Stuck In Your Head

I've got the lullaby from the pilot movie for Darkwing Duck stuck it my head...I can't help it, it's such a sweet song! Before that I had "Johanna (the Sweeney/Anthony version)" from Sweeney Todd stuck in my head.

    Secret Garden

I liked the book as a child, and loved (and still do to this day) the 1993 WB film starring Maggie Smith and Kate Maberly. The film was stunning to watch, and it had a beautiful soundtrack as well.

    Vampire Romances

I really enjoyed "Beyond the Pale (The Darkwing Chronicles: Book 1)" By Savannah Russe. (Warning--there's a little bit of sexual content--) There's four or five books to the series so far, but I've only read the first one.

    your top ten tv shows

Mine would be (in no particular order): LOST (Friggin amazing!) Boy Meets World (Damn you Disney, release the rest on dvd!!!) Avatar: The Last Airbender (Friggin amazing!) Spaced Firefly (Joss Whendon's best!) Xena: Warrior Princess (Seasons 3-5 were the best) Wolf's Rain...

    Beowulf

I thought it was okay...but didn't think it was epic like the trailers made it look. The CGI was great, I'll give it that, but this isn't a movie I'd want to add to my dvd collection.

    Sweeney Todd

I LOVED this musical, and thought Johnny Depp did a fantastic job in it! I very much enjoyed his singing as well as Helena's, and loved the depressing and disturbing plot. I've seen the original play as well (have the 1982 dvd), but honestly enjoyed the movie much better (I love the...

What actors do you think are any good?

All-time favorite actors: Johnny Depp is honestly my all-time favorite actor without a doubt. He really gets into his roles, always does something different, and he's smart about how he picks the roles he wants to do. I really do feel he could do anything, and I have yet to watch a movie...

    I Am Legend

I guess I'm the only one who loved this movie, huh? Oh well. Wonderful performance by Will Smith, great (and depressing) story, loved the ending (hated the alternate ending though). I will agree with the CGI infected, they did look a little cartoonish...but that didn't distract me or...

A Book Named The Number 23 Changed HIS Life

This was a great movie, one of Jim Carrey's best performances (I love his non-comedy films). Very captivating, kept me on the edge of my seat, and overall a pleasure to watch.

    Recently purchased DVDs

The last two dvds I bought were both Johnny Depp ones: Arizona Dream and The Brave Both were excellent films with excellent (as always) performances done by Mr. Depp. I had to get them from Amazon.uk since neither movie is available on dvd in the USA.

    Children's Book about living forever

Yeah, it's Tuck Everlasting. I remember that book being read to my class in 1st grade, and we saw the old movie for it too. Anyone know if the new movie with that cutie who used to play Lucky on General Hospital is any good?

Help with title to old favorite!

When I was in the second grade, my teacher had begun (don't recall if we ever finished it...) reading this book to us about a man who lived inside a tree. I think it was one of those huge trees that you could drive a car through, and he had managed to hollow it out on the inside and set up a...

Rock and Roll versions of classical music?

Cool, and thanks! These are what I'm looking for.

    The Darkwing Chronicles

I have read Book One of this series: "Beyond the Pale", and really enjoyed it. I have heard in reviews, that the follow up books weren't as good. What are your thoughts? Should I still get them?

    Dean Koontz: Velocity

I was really disappointed with this one to be honest, can't say I liked it at all. Now, I will admit that I'm a new fan of Koontz. But I've at least liked all of his other novels that I have read (which is a grand total of 3!) I loved "Watchers" and "Door to December", and enjoyed...

    Anne McCaffrey's Pern novels...

Years ago, at the local dump, I stumbled across a used copy of "The Harper Hall of Pern" collection in the used goods area (consisting of books, vhs, vcrs, furniture, stuff that was still in reasonably good condition that was being given away) I read it, I loved it, and I still have it to...

    Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan

Who else has read these books, or at least the first one? I personally loved the first two books, thought they were captivating and well written. However, I do feel they should have ended with the second novel instead of expanding onward. I finished the third book, and was very very...
