I used to buy bookmarks (really cute kinds) but I got too lazy to search for them whenever I needed one, so I ended up just using whatever was small, flat and laying around. Then finally a friend got me a gold plated bookmark with my name on it, so I use that. :)
Vamped by David Sosnowski, it's very very good, but I don't wanna jinx it, cause everytime I say a book is good before I finish it, it ends up really terrible. Thankfully I only have 100 pages or so left to go. :)
Until just recently, I've been buying all my books. But seeing as how I have no income anymore, library it is! I don't know why I stopped going in the first place, probably because my old job never gave me anytime to head down there and browse. I'm back in the game now and loving it! :D
I'm in the middle of "Metro Girl" and I have to say it's really bad. Weak opening, weak characters and weak plot. Hopefully her other books aren't like this.
Metro Girl
Dress your family....(Cant remember the rest of teh title)
The Botox Diaries
Sisterhood of the Traveling pants
Beloved
All from the library.
Like it was said before, who really needs comfy chairs and coffe? What pisses me off is when the books are horribly shelved. When I go to find a book it should be in the right section, not only that, I want them neat. Many a book stores have I went into that have their books dusty, grimy...
Dead Until Dark by Charline Harris
The Secrets of Jin-Shei by Alma Alexander (not bad but just boring as hell)
Fat Girls in lawn chairs (Biggest waste of paper I've ever seen!)
I adored Judy Blume when I was a kid, growing up she was all I would ever read. She introduced me to books and started making reading fun for me. That woman means a lot to me for that simple fact, I know it must sound weird, but though I never met her, I adore her. :o
Hi ya!
Yes, her undead series is the best! She's got two more books in the series coming out, one is this year, I think the other is next year. Her newer books are coming out in hardcover instead of paperback though... :( Sucks for the broke people like me...
