Anyone know any good war fiction books? After reading The Things They Carried I'm in the need for some good war books. I have Slaughterhouse Five and I just ordered Johnny Got His Gun, are there any good ones anyone can suggest? :)
I got The Memory of Running (i think thats the name) brand new for 50 cents at a yard sale. Pretty neat, except my boyfriend is "borrowing" it. lol.
I also just got Intensity by Koontz and Rainbow Six by Clancy, hope to start one of them soon though its doubtful.:(
Favorite wine? Well, I'm only 18 but I've tasted quite a bit here and there. I enjoy anything from Napa Valley, the 1998 Red I had the other day was pretty good.:D

Maggie girl of the streets
Return of the Native
Child of the Owl
A Thousand pieces of gold
Siddhartha
Pride and Prejudice (this was the only one I hated!!! )
Hamlet (play)
Hard Times
Heart of...
I just bought the first in the series, the adaptation of Homeland. Its so good! The artists is dead on to what Drizzt should look like (Salvatore even said so in his little opening letter). Its so weird seeing the story go so fast, its great though. This will definitely guide comix fans into his...
lol seriously, lil stewie needs to realize that "horror" doesnt have to mean all violence and gore. There's also the horror of war or the horror of humanity (or inhumanity).
with that said, i'm surprised A Clockwork Orange hasnt been mentioned. I was lucky enough to read the book first and...
I used to have a hamster that I would place on top of my head when I read but after a few "surprises", I decided to just let her crawl around my bed. She would also hang on my lip with her little front legs. But now, she's in hamster heaven...:(
