That's basically what I was trying to say. ;) It's the kind of book that I thought I'd really like, but I guess I prefer something that is more "straightforward". :o
I bought this book, due to the "layout" (ie. footnotes, back-to-front writing etc), but I put it down about halfway through because it started to irritate me. :o Footnotes that go on for several pages, and go off in a different direction - then when you go back to reading the actual text, you...
Still don't get it. :(
So would 2,616 become BFAF? But then what about the zeros in the other numbers? What letters do they represent?
I've tried Roman Numerals as well, but I'm probably getting those all wrong. :p
I started reading Pandora's Star by Peter F. Hamilton, a few days ago, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I haven't read too much science fiction (mainly Philip K. Dick, and his novels are much, much shorter), although it's a genre that I've been meaning to get into for a while. Haven't read...

Ice, do you have the answer to it?
^Yus, he has finally finished. :D A very good ending too, IMO. :D Though I have to say that I didn't like the last 3 books as much as I enjoyed the first 4.
Watership Down is the first one (and only one) that sprung to mind.
What about Richard Adams' other books? Didn't he write a few in the similar vein of Watership Down? I haven't tried them, so I can't really recommend them.
I've had the same resolution (not New Years) for ages - and I've already broken it twice this week. :p I bought Magician (Raymond E Fiest) a few days ago, and today I bought Pandora's Star (Peter F. Hamilton). :D
I've put quite a few down - but I always plan to pick them up later. :D
I've stopped reading Black House, House of Leaves, and Lord of the Rings.... I guess I just wasn't in the mood to read them at that time.
