The Most overrated fiction book ever?

There's a film adaptation to that isn't there? I haven't read the book, but thought that the film was very good - probably appeal more to females, though.

    avatar

Hi Guys, I keep trying to upload a different picture for my avatar on here, but it keeps saying that my image is too big. I've tried croping the image and stuff, but I don't really know what I'm doing! Any suggestions? Also, how do I check how many pixels a certain image is, before attempting...

Favorite 3 books of all time

I'm surprised that people have put Cathcher in the Rye in their top three books. I read that about a year ago, and just kept waiting for something interesting to happen - I realise that it's pretty symbolic, but even so, I found it quite dull. My favourite 3 books are: 1. Enduring Love -...

    Reading in May

I've read Shame, Brick Lane, and A.L Kennedy's 'Indelible Acts' - the short stories. Has anybody read Indelible Acts? I quite liked some of the stories, in particular A Bad Son, but overall, I thought some of them were a bit odd - they went a bit too far at times.

Before that I read Brick Lane which I enjoyed even more, althought it did take about 5 chapters before I got into it. I'll probably go onto The Di Vinci Code after this - I had the Special Edition Hardback copy for...

    George Orwell: Animal Farm

I read Animal Farm a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. Although it's based on a certain period in history, it can be associated with almost any part of everybody's life! There are very few cases that the format of a new regime does not require a 'leader' of some sort, regardless of all...
