I have them all in paperback. I was planning on getting #13 in hardback though cause I'm tired of waiting for the library or the paperbak.. It really doesn't seem worth it for a novella though the more I think about it.
Hmmm this is a good question at this time. Since I'm trying to decide between buying the new Janet Evanovich books Plum Lovin'(at 167 pages) or 2 fat fantasy novels...
I just started The DaVinci Code myself. I'm kinda bored with it so far but then I'm only 25 pages into it. So I guess I'll read more and see what happens. :o
Here's a pic of my tall bookcase. I couldn't get it all into one shot so I took 3. There's books in behind too but well...they're in behind so you can't see them. :p And you can see my computer too!!
Yeah...I'm a Star Trek nerd...:o.
Well here's the entrance to the library I go to the most. It's inside a mall. I know it doesn't look like much but they got quite a lot of books. This is just from the library website!
Nighttime is the about the only time of day I can read! During the day I am too wound up/excited busy with whatever to concentrate on reading. I can relax and and read after about 8:00 or so in the evening.
My favorites/best are Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, and of course J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter!
As for childhood favorites, my absolute favorite was Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, and also Chronicles of Narnia.
I quit reading that series part way through Narcissus in Chains I think I maybe got through 100 pages before I gave up. I didn't know what the heck was going on all they did was talk about sex, when to have it how to have it and all the rules of it or whatever like WTH happened!! I was too...
I haven't a clue what my wpm is. But in 2 hours I might read around 60-70 pages. Am I slow or what??? Oh well, if I read too fast I don't understand what the heck is going on so I go slow.:o
