Yes. I've read "Endurance" by Alfred Lansing which is excellent. Really engrossing read. I've also read "Nimrod" which is about his 1907 expedition that achieved a furthest south of 97 nautical miles from the Pole. Roland Huntford has written a biography of him as well, simply titled...

It's not bad. The best one is "Fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock. Much more entertaining read. If nothing else you learn a lot about Ancient Egypt, Mexico and South America.
