Wow. PWEI. There's a blast from the past. I saw them live quite a few times. I guess at the time they were one of my favourite bands but I haven't listened to them in years.
It takes a lot of soul to never rub another mans rhubarb you know.
I have loads of dvd's and actually am now in need of a larger bookcase to store them all.
It is a compulsive thing with me I think. Until I bought a DVD player I never collected anything apart from books of course.
The majority of the films I own I would watch again and again but I think...
I went to see Serenity at the cinema last week and it was everything I was hoping it would be. If you've ever seen Firefly you will love it and if you haven't well you'll still love it. Great cast, script and story = great film.
At home I saw Hudson Hawk for the first time today. It's not...
Tis a great film. I was off the age where I was beginning to notice girls when it came out and young Jennifer was one of my first crushes (along with Princess Leia of course)
As for a favourite scene. Any with Ludo. He's so cute.
Also the whole conversation with the worm. It's his little scarf!
Huffing?
Tippex Liquid Paper was always worth a sniff. Again though it's not something I did very often.
I got my rushes from jumping off a local cliff into a lake below. Scary, got the adrenaline going and in the winter it was fecking freezing. Plus it was great fun.
I really don't...
That is damn scary. The world is getting more messed up every day if kids have to resort to that to get a rush. I'm not one to advocate drugs usually but surely a wee dab of speed would be better that nearly killing yourself.
It's not something that we really come across here in Britain. Football teams are pretty much City, Town or United with a few others thrown in the mix including the bizarre Wednesday.
Only recently has Rugby Leauge taken up using Rhinos, Bears or Warriors etc.
On the PC side I agree it's...
I respect Robin Cook for his stance on the war in Iraq. Like someone said at another forum I pop into now and again at least he was doing something he enjoyed when he died.
RIP Mr Cook
Just watched this for the first time. Hugh Laurie has been around for years here in Britain. One of his best roles ever was Prince George in Blackadder 3. I was pretty impressed with his American accent.
Yeah Okay.
When I was younger I I have to admit that I wish I was Tanis Half Elven from the Dragonlance books. Both Kitara and Laurana were extremely hot in my mind!
Rather bizarrely it was from my little brother. When he was very little and we still kissed each other good night he used to think kissing meant licking you on the cheek. It was like being kissed by some big slobbery dog!!
Do you believe in the para-normal?
Yep I'd lie in bed and read for most of the day too. Then during the evening I'd lounge on the sofa and watch a decent film with a bottle of wine.
We're all a bunch of boring gits really aren't we? ;)
The Great Escape is an excellent film. McQueens "Cooler King" is one of the coolest characters ever on celluloid. Even though a lot of them don't make it it's still such a feel good film as well. Strange really.
Billy by Pamela Stephenson about her husband Billy Connolly is very good.
I'd also have to recommend If Chins Could Kill by Bruce Campbell which is hilarious and if you're one of the weird people who worship him you'll love it. :p
There are not many new films I'll go out and buy. I think my newest is Collateral which I loved after I'd rented it. Most of my 200 plus collection are probably 80s/90s films.
What's the oldest film you own?
