I'm sure I've been judged based on the books I read. It's a natural reaction in my opinion and I don't really give it much thought. Especially as people look more weird at me in the sub when I read stuff for University (seeing as everyone always thinks I'm 16-17 not 22 -_-).
I play tennis for 2 hours once a week (though now i'm on holiday it will be twice a week till university starts again). And sometimes but rarely i'll do some workout at home in the evening but that's so rare heh.
I don't have real summer plans; I'm hoping to visit my brother in Switzerland for 2 weeks and also meet up with a good friend who lives there and maybe spend a weekend with her. I have to do summer practice for University so for now i'll be home; reading is pretty much the main thing i do all...
I'm reading the book now and i love it. I can't believe it took me so long...well i've never seen it in the bookshops before so i was quite happy to find it a while back. Still i never read it as a kid. But i'm enjoying it a lot now too :D
Here at home i read in bed most of the time; at the country house we have a ...kind of a swing? i don't know the English word, on which i lay down and read or i just put a blanket on the grass in the garden :)
I have a really good and lovely bookshop just 20 min away from my apartment. I can find basically any book i want there (they also have books in English which is nice) and they can also order for me if i want to get something. I use Amazon.com sometimes but now my card apparently doesn't work...
"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince"- J.K. Rowling
"Lord of the Flies" - W. Golding
"White Noise" - Don DeLillo
"Carrie" - Stephen King
"Praise of Folly" - Desiderius Erasmus
Mihai Eminescu is probably the most famous Romanian poet.
I personally love Ion Luca Caragiale; he mostly wrote plays and short stories.
I also like Liviu Rebreanu and Mircea Eliade.
Some of their works were translated as far as i know but i don't really know which :)
As for new writers i...
Not American papers but i'll answer anyway :P
I'm subscribed to a local newspaper. Also i'm planning on subscribing this month to a British classic music magazine (i wonder if i'll actually receive it).
