Was A Great And Terrible Beauty good? I saw it at my library and thought it looked interesting, but I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to read it.

I've seen the 3 movies and I think I remember there being a cartoon as well, but I'm not sure. The third movie was horrible but the first two were great!

Eldest is really good. You find out some really interesting things about Eragon's life and it gets a little twisted(crazy) at the end. It gets a little slow in a couple chapters though when it goes to tell about the Varden.

Yea most books are different when they are put into movies, but I didn't think it would be as different as it was. I still enjoyed it though:) .

Auel is supposedly writing the 6th and last book in the series. I liked all the books, especially Valley of Horses. Shelters of Stone was pretty good. It kind of slowed down a little too much. The first four were adventure filled and kept me wanting to read more, but the 5th one wasn't like that...

Has anyone read anything by David Clement-Davies? He wrote Fire Bringer and The Sight. Both of the books were the best! Also, what is everyone reading right now? I'm reading Piper At The Gate by Mary Stanton and Birth of the Firebringer (isn't related to Fire Bringer) by Meredith Ann Pierce.

My all time favorite is Fruits Basket for both the manga and anime. Other anime I like is Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Castle In The Sky, Nausicaa, and Howl's Moving Castle. Akira was really good too.

I really enjoy Fruits Basket. It's the only manga that I've actually stuck to. Others I get bored with and quit reading. I like the anime series for Fruits Basket too.

I kind of liked it. It got a little boring at times, but for the most part it was good.

I play the piano, guitar, drums, and used to play the flute. I'm also very talented with an air guitar ;)
