Re-reading-to do it, or not to do it

I'm not deadset against re-reading (though my mother is), but I tend not re-read books as a general rule, just because I've had so little time to read the last few years and I want to make the most of it. On the other hand, there are several books that I regularly re-read because I like the way...

Do you buy, borrow or take out from the library?

I try to avoid going to bookstores, because I have no impulse control when it comes to books, and I end up buying interesting-looking books but never reading them. NPR summer book reading list

I haven't read anything on that list, or even heard of most of them. The Ray Bradbury book looks interesting, but it says it's a sequel to Dandelion Wine, which I haven't read yet...and I should probably read the other books of his that I own first, since they've been waiting patiently in my...

    Hello.

Thought I'd say hello in the introduction forum before I go posting elsewhere. I graduated from college in May, so I've been trying to make up for lost reading time since then. I love science fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction, and I've recently taken an interest in shorter novels. So, hello.
