I'd like to meet Benjamin Franklin..I've been reading Walter Isaacson's bio, and the man was simply amazing.

One thing I would ask him is if there is anything he would do differently during his time in England, when he was representing the colony of Pennsylvannia.

Another person I'd love to meet is a historical nobody..but to me he reperesents a piece of my own genealogical puzzle. Andrew Tooman was the first of my dad's line we know of in America and I'd like to talk to him and find out exactly where he came from and why, and what he did once he got here. All I know is he was in the Westmoreland County Pennsylvannia Census for 1790, which was the first census conducted here.

I'd choose Eugene V. Debs. The guy lived a heck of a life and I'd be curious to know his opinion about other politicians of his day.
