Ok, I read this book when I was about 11 and can not remember the title. I've searched high and low and nada. I don't even know where I found it. Here is what I remember:
It's summer vacation and three kids are visiting their grandfather(maybe) in Scottland(maybe). The grandfather character is really Merlin. I think it is two boys and a girl...The kid's adventures lead them to find the holy grail I believe...Also they travel back in time to help people in the olden days. I remember them having to unravel clues to find a cave while standing on a cliff(odd the things we remember)...over cast weather...it was by the sea...
