I read this short novel a few days ago and enjoyed it very much.It was on the advice of Bartleby(not around anymore:sad:).
It's the story of Hervé Jouncourt a french man,who goes to japan to buy Silk worms eggs. The story telling is a bit like a tales, the tone light and sometime funny. He use amazing short cuts to discribe the 3 months trip, and repetition of it throughout the book. The characteres all are very originals and interesting.
In short i love it,and found myshelf Smilling-out-loud while reading it.
I would recommend it and thanks Bartleby for the tip.
