An indie author, good to be here

Hi everyone,

I'm Dan Rix, an indie author from Southern California. I just sort of stumbled on this forum. I'm hoping to stay updated on new trends and see what everyone else is reading/thinking. Personally, I love to read YA (I just think the writing and plot is so much more simple and straight forward than adult fiction). A few recent favorites of mine are Gone, by Michael Grant, and Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher
