Well I think this is great news for London. I'm a bit surprised actually, I thought France were the clear favourites. Makes success even sweeter! :)

I think this would be a good one to put to a vote actually - as to whether people think it will be a good thing for London. And I would do that, just I have no idea how. (I have read the blurb but it still makes no sense!)

Anyway, the party has started already. Having the Olympics here is great. Whether it will be good or not in the long run, it depends on the people in charge and how they manage it.
 
I should be real interesting to see what they do with the opening ceremony. I'll bet they put on a great show!

They were, apparently there were only four votes in it. The french are extremely annoyed with Chirac :p

You guys can have Mitt Romney if you promise to keep him. He did such a great job we made him a govenor...
 
But the best guess would be that the bombings are timed to be in line with the G8 meeting rather than the olympics.

I'm glad I decided to go into London late today (well, not at all now), my Train station, Liverpool Street, sounds like it took the first hit.
