Hi folks,

I've actually been a member for a while but haven't posted or introduced myself. So here I am.

I'm an avid reader and always have been (d'uh :rolleyes:). Right now I'm mostly reading school books, having decided to return to school for a Masters in Public Administration.

But in my free time I love reading a variety of books ranging from historical romances to horror to fantasy/sci fi.

On a personal note, I've been married for 21 years and live in NYC - a born and bred New Yawker :p

I look forward to getting to know folks on the board.
 
Welcome aboard. I love NYC - went there for part of my honeymoon in 2004 (NYC, LV then finished up in Santa Monica). I'm from England otherwise I'd visit all the time.

I LOVE Tolkien's and Lewis' books. I'm also a huge fan of Susan Cooper's Dark is Rising series and Harry Potter and I have the Pullman His Dark Materials books just waiting to be read. I also really enjoy Neil Gaiman's works (although I'm not sure if they're technically fantasy).

Thanks for the welcome - sometimes I think NYC might be more fun to visit than to live in :rolleyes: With all the changes that are going on right now I get disoriented coming home from work - new buildings, new people, I'm on overload.
 
Hi friends nice to find so many vivid book readers at one place giving their views on which books to read which now a days v find a lot many n get confused which one to read. I hv recently joined and would love to contribute my suggestions soon
