Any coffee drinkers?

Any coffee drinkers here? I'm an all day consumer of the stuff myself. From gourmet to folgers, I cant get enough.

CDM coffee and chicory, with extra French Market chicory. Black. 2-3 cups daily.

Maybe 4.....

Libre What a wonderful story! For a Southerner I came late to the coffee experience. I grew up on strong black tea instead. My British descent mother. But in my early 20's working the Night Audit shift I was introduced to coffee. And strangely enough I have inherited my paternal grandfather's taste buds that love thickened CDM...

So I still start my day with tea, but finish up with coffee/chicory.

p.s. I well remember "Queen For a Day", and watched Liberace's TV program as well.

I'll add my three or four cups a day to this tally -- the last one always in the evening, and always decaf. The first one either at Borders or the local coffee shop, depending on whether I'm wanting books or donuts. :) There always has to be a first one, otherwise my body just doesn't move or respond to stimuli.

Since yesterday morning, I have spilt coffee on myself, my carpet and my desk. I'm having a clumsy weekend.
Yes...I love coffee. I think all writers do, and if they don't they should...It should be a rule.
I started drinking coffee 2 years ago, I think. I'm in love with it now. Mmmm, Can't wait till breaky now!!

Nope, not at all. I have a huge intolerance to caffiene; I find even some decaf coffees contain enough caffiene for my body to be affected.

I am a confirmed coffee drinker. I prob'ly average 6 cups a day, steaming hot and black. I even drink it in the hottest stretch of summer. I often drink it after 10 pm. As an ex-alcohol drinker, it is my socializing beverage of choice.

I thought we had but couldnt be bothered doing a search :)

Never works for me anyway.

Thanks Moto, I thought I was under going a de ja vu experience as I created the thread, but couldn't put it together as to why it felt like I had typed something of a similar nature before. The sad thing? I can hear about something in the news and revive an old thread about four pages back. Doo-do-dooo-do-doo-do-dooo-do-tah-duh!

You know how it is..a mind is a terrible thing to lose;) I like to say, "I have two brain cells left, and they're limping!" Oh well..life goes on.

I'm glad you started this thread anyway, as I'd not have noticed the old one. So you 'caught' newer memeber. :)

Coffee rules. 4 cups in the morning out of my filter plunger thingy that I can't pronounce or spell the proper word for. Tesco (UK answer to TOPPS) has a really cheap French coffee that's really nice.

My hubby and I like Folger's French Vanilla coffee. Hazelnut disagrees with my stomach for some reason. I like the aroma though..My oldest dd gets this pumpkin spiced coffee from The Spice Merchant, and its ok once in awhile. Dh and I agree that we don't like Starbucks, which is what they serve at Borders..too bitter. We much prefer the Cappuchino from Quick Trip. (English Toffee-YUM!)

The bitter is what I like. :) The only flavor I really like (only occasionally) is chocolate, and then one of the hot chocolate mixes, not coffeemate, yeech.

I like it plain, plain, plain. (like me). :)

My wife and I never liked Starbucks coffee much. But one day we wondered in and stumbled on a combination that is absolutely heaven in a cup. It's a Venti Vanilla Quad Latte . Don't worry about what it is, just order it. But be forwarned, we now spend a good portion of our take home pay drinking this concoction. If you are calory concious, you can get:
A Venti Vanilla Sugar Free Fat Free Quad Latte. Talk about modifiers! You used to have to remember only 1 word - regular. Now, you have to have the memory and the linguistic skills of a Noble Prize winner to order a cup of coffee.
It'll run ya about 5 bucks - and well worth it! We have a Starbucks card that needs refilling as often as the gas tank of my brother's Porsche.
