Any recommendations for sword and fantasy novels?

I am currently reading the first book in the fire and ice books a game of thrones by George R.R. Martin and am loving it so far. I like how it is focused on the characters and the politics that come from being lords and kings. I also enjoyed the night angel trilogy by Brent Weeks because I like that it focused on an assassins apprentice and what he had to go through to become one. The Witcher series is also another of my favorites and can not wait until the third book is released here in the states. So can anyone make any suggestions of what other books I might like that are similar to these series.

I haven't read the Martin books, but I did read all of Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Triliogy...which was a big time investment but fun all the same. I like Sanderson's magic system and he's generally upheld as an author that is very good at world building.

Sword and Fantasy ... hmm with or without elves?

Fred Saberhagen - Lost Swords Series

Terry Goodkind - Sword of Truth Series

Fritz Leihber - Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series

Roy Thomas - Conan the Barbarian stories

Marion Zimmer Bradley - Sword and Sorceress series

J.V. Jones - A Sword of Shadows

and pretty much anything by David and Lee Eddings.
