Average book length?

Just wondering on average how many pages are in the books you like to read.
For me its about 353 I think, and yes I actually keep track of the page totals for the books I read.

18,402 total and counting:D
 
the surprising thing is that almost 60-80% of my reading is done in school, mostly between classes because I have an hour or so.

The most I've read at home was the last 300 some odd pages of the last Harry Potter book.....I was up till 3:00 AM
 
I don't keep track of how many pages I read, but I'd say I read books with about 300 to 400 pages. It's just a complete guess though. :D
 
I'd say probably around 300-400 too. Lately I've been trying to read smaller novels because I just don't have the time to read like I used to.
 
I don't keep track. They vary. I'd say most books I read are between 200-500 pages. That really narrows it down. :p

i guess you could say that.
I also found two books I read a while back while I was cleaning the schools library(I'm a janitor for a grade school)

so the average for me NOW is 349.8888888888 pages long.
Grand total of 18,867 pages!!!!!!(the crowd goes wild):p
 
I don't quite see how this matters, given that different books have different sizes and words-per-page counts.
 
I'm not certain what the number would be,but it would be a lot. I have seven shelves, piles upon piles in various rooms in the house, not to mention a wall to wall collection in my classroom and in two tubs we have in our basement. The wife jokes that one of these days, she's going to clean out several of the rooms of books.:eek:
