Avid reader of other people's opinions

Hi

No so much an avid reader, but a person who loves to read what it is that makes a good book.

I am a new Author and I have many more books waiting to be completed on my computer and more still in my mind and I need information on what makes a person pick up a book and go WOW!

So basically I am picking your brains and hopefully manage to make a few valid contributions as well.

I am also studying Theology as a full time student so my postings can become very infrequent during the university terms.

Welcome Peter! Speaking of theology, have you read anything by John Dominic Crossan or Martin J. Borg? They have some excellent books on Christianity.
