Wanna meet up via skypecast again? I'm thinking next Fri, though that may change until I get something confirmed.

Tentatively, it's 22 Sept 2006, at 1300 to 1600 GMT/UTC[/B]. I'm gonna start an hour earlier this time in case Monkeycatcher decides to join us from NZ, without having her whisper her way throughout the skypecast (unless her family's already asleep at that time too. :))

I'll get the proper timetable from The World Clock - Time Zone Converter later, but you can check what that time is in your timezone by going there yourself.

All are welcome to this skypecast - it'll be great to hear from you. I'll go get Jenn and Ell. All former TBFers/B&Rers are also welcome, of course. :)

hmmph...it's not like you come see them often;) if I did the thingee correct, it would be about 9am here...I'm on the east coast in the u.s
 
ouch. in my defense, i will say this: i lurk! :)

and you never did say where...

9am? but that means - you're working now! and why can't you participate in a friendly skypecast chat while you're working? are companies so strict now that they don't allow conversations anymore? :(

hehe..I am off today (had an appointment) I don'twork in an office...and have no access to a pc during work! Why not do one on a weekend??:D

Any time is good for me - don't bother yourself by moving around times just for me. Friday and any day after is great - next Friday my school holidays begin for 2 weeks so my schedule is clear :D
 
hehe...anytime is good for me as well...as long as I am home of course!:D (which sadly, I usually am;) )

warm up? It was more of a marathon;) this weekend I'm unable...but the next...I'm all yours;) and anyone else who wants to join in!
 
It's on again!

Okay, here's another shot at planning the skypecast again, and I've checked, there isn't a dinner on that night. :)

I'm planning a skypecast session next Sat, 10 Nov 2006 at 2200hrs to Sun 11 Nov 2006 0000hrs UTC/GMT (2 hours). To see what time this means in your locale, you could goto The World Clock - Time Zone Converter, or you could check the table below (and approximate from there).

From the table, you can see it that starts 6am my time.

This skypecast is open to all who can make it, and it's generally about us BARfers hanging out and having a good time. It's about finally putting the voice to the nick in the forums. We've done this before, and it was jolly good fun. So download the latest version of Skype, turn up at this thread at the designated time (to get the Skypecast link) and join in the fun. Alternatively, just contact me at my Skype ID donny.yap and I can bring you in too.

I'll probably be around about 10 mins before showtime, so do check this thread for skypecast info which I will post then. For more background on this skypecast, as well as general instructions, please read this thread here.

This time, instead of concentrating only on intros, here is a list of things that participants should think about and share during the session:
1. Everyone must share a little tidbit about themselves that they've never revealed in BAR before ("I'm actually damn good with a guitar", "My neighbour is Cher!", etc)
1. Everyone must recommend one book to read, and why.
2. Thoughts on the general state of BAR at present, and what can be done.

As usual, I have dry runs before, so I will be on this Friday night 3 Nov and next Fri night 10 Nov (1400GMT/UTC) for a couple of hours for general testing for those of you who want it.
