LOS ANGELES -
Don Knotts, the skinny, lovable nerd who kept generations of television audiences laughing as bumbling Deputy Barney Fife on "The
Andy Griffith Show," has died. He was 81.

Dang.....that's too bad.:( I loved The Incredible Mr. Limpet, about a man who became a dolphin and the voice of Don Knotts. Before there was Nemo....there was Mr. Limpet.

I think he was just a regular fish in that movie... it was so weird.

It's sad to see all the good actors die. It means that we're going to be left with teenyboppers...

Can you imagine what our greatgrandmothers, and grandmothers thought when Rudolph Valentino died?:D

CNN and the larry King show has a special on RIGHT NOW on Don Knotts. Guests are Andy Griffith and Ron Howard.

That was a good show.

I thought he was pretty funny in The Ghost And Mr. Chicken.

I also liked his role as landlord in the TV show Three's Company. And to think John Ritter ain't with us any more either! Yowch.
