You will pay the increased costs of keeping the store open when no books are being sold. Like extra security to protect the stores contents and employees thanks to the fact that thieves will now find the establishment a much better target at 2:30 in the morning.
Somehow I think if you were the store owner you would see things in a different light.

I would love a 24-hour bookstore! It could definitely work if you attached a 24-hour coffee shop to it.
