I cannot stop playing it! Late at night I have to go to bed but I say "just one more game", then "just one more game".
Don't you just hate it when you finally get a hyper cube and there's a power gem that makes it explode?

Bejeweled is great! My family swap highscores. Did you know Bejeweled 2 is out for a while now?
We've since moved to another game, also made by the same people who created Bejeweled called Bookworm. It's Bejeweled with letters, and you form words by linking tiles. Bloody freaky addictive!

I was playing it a few years ago, but my computer then couldn't handle it and I gave it up, when I got my new computer in the early (last) fall, I bought the full version (BJ2 Deluxe) and haven't gone a day without it. A couple weeks ago I checked the statistics and was embarrassed at how many hours I've spent on it.
My highest score for the Classic is 101,738. I don't like the timed version too much, but my highest there is 351,000-scoring is higher with the action game. I love the Endless version-it's very relaxing knowing you can't lose!
I had Bookworm on my old computer too but the old machine couldn't handle it and kept crashing. I'm trying to avoid temptation, I waste entirely too much time on Bejeweled as it is! But, I think about other things while I play, it seems to help me concentrate, oddly enough.

lately I seem to hit the wall after 14,000 or so. But I guess that's the way the game is programmed-if you get to score high all the time, it's not as much fun.
